The most important features of simplelist are spam avoidance:
- only approved senders can email your lists.
- each message gets appended a link to the webpage with info about the list.
- recipients can remove themselves at any time via a single click on the secure and coded unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email sent to your list. (Members don't have to remember some username or password or website, and they don't have to send some weird unsubscribe email.)
- server admin can set the number of seconds (default 10) to sleep between each outgoing email, as another technique used to slow down any attempts to spam.
- server admin can define the maximum number of users per list.
- server admin can define the maximum message size.
- our mail archives will obscure email addresses from spam harvesters, and will have optional access security.
You are not allowed to use simplelist to send email to people who have not asked to get email from you. If you do this, it is a violation of our terms of service, and we'll send a voodoo priest (or worse) to your house.
